Fairbanks - Land Tour

This morning travel by deluxe motorcoach to the nearby community of North Pole, Alaska for a visit to the Santa Claus House giftshop. Have a chance to meet some of Santa’s Reindeer! This afternoon enjoy a brief Fairbanks city tour (including a visit to see the Trans-Alaska oil pipeline) and a ride in the Riverboat Discovery on the Chena and Nenana Rivers. The riverboat stops at a recreated Athabascan Indian Village where you will learn about the Native people way of life. This evening a dinner is included at a local musher’s house. This morning travel by deluxe motorcoach from Fairbanks to Denali. If the weather cooperates the best views of Mt. Denali are near Nenana. This afternoon is open for optional activities such as whitewater rafting, flightseeing, hiking or one of the Park Service programs. From Alyeska this morning travel by deluxe motorcoach along the Turnagain Arm, where the mountains rise out of the sea. En route, enjoy a visit to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center to learn about the iconic wildlife that lives throughout the Last Frontier, Continue through the mountains of the Kenai Peninsula down the coast of Cook Inlet with views of volcanoes on the other side of the Inlet to Homer.
